About me

I am a specialist in paediatrics. I completed my specialist training at the Department of Paediatrics, Immunology and Nephrology of the Polish Mother’s Memorial Hospital Research Institute in Łódź.

I am also a sleep medicine expert of the Polish Sleep Research Society and the European Sleep Research Society, as well as a travel medicine physician of the Polish Society of Maritime, Tropical and Travel Medicine.

I completed my PhD in allergology at the Department of Paediatric Internal Medicine and Allergology of the Janusz Korczak Children’s Hospital in Łódź.

I was also an academic teacher at the Medical University of Łódź. Over four years, I gained teaching experience and served as the scientific supervisor of the Student Scientific Society at the Department of Paediatrics, Immunology and Nephrology in Łódź.

I graduated in medicine from the Military Medical Faculty of the Medical University of Łódź.
During my studies, I completed placements at the Nephrology Department of Cavale Blanche Hospital in Brest, France, and at the Plastic Surgery Department of Ege University Hospital in İzmir, Turkey.

Scope of services

Paediatrics

Comprehensive paediatric care for children from the neonatal period to the age of 18. Consultations include the diagnosis and treatment of childhood illnesses, developmental assessment, health prevention and interpretation of test results. Every appointment is based on current medical knowledge, thorough diagnostics and an individual approach to the child and their family.

Common reasons for consultation: respiratory infections, fever, cough, runny nose, sore throat, abdominal pain, diarrhoea, constipation, vomiting, allergies, asthma, atopic dermatitis, recurrent infections, assessment of a child’s development, prevention and vaccinations, interpretation of test results, consultations for healthy and unwell children.

Sleep medicine

Consultations for children and adults with sleep disorders and excessive daytime sleepiness. Assessment includes sleep quality, circadian rhythm and symptoms that may indicate sleep disorders. The aim is to identify the cause of symptoms and develop an individual diagnostic and treatment plan in line with current sleep medicine standards.

Common reasons for consultation: insomnia, difficulty falling asleep, frequent awakenings, snoring, narcolepsy, sleep apnoea, excessive daytime sleepiness, irregular sleep rhythm, nightmares, parasomnias (night terrors, nightmares, sleepwalking), snoring and sleep problems in children.

Travel medicine

Travel medicine consultations for children and adults before international travel. They include an assessment of health risks related to the planned journey, vaccination qualification, selection of preventive measures and recommendations tailored to the destination, nature of travel and traveller's health status.

Common consultation topics: pre-travel vaccination qualification, malaria prevention, travel first-aid kit, risk of infection, travellers’ diarrhoea, insect bites, travelling with a child, travel to tropical countries, travel for people with chronic conditions, health-risk assessment and prevention of infectious diseases.
